VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Decades of research show that when parents are involved in their child’s school, the students have:

• • Higher grades,test scores and graduation rates

• • Better school attendance

• • Increased motivation, better self-esteem

• Lower rates of discipline issues

Because research clearly ties student success to parental involvement, Eastside Connections School wants to make every effort to involve as many of you as possible.

There are many ways to volunteer at school for the benefit of your child, grandchild and other family members, as well as the rest of the students at our school. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact our Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Annemieke Kosten. She will send Volunteer Availability and Consent forms home for you to complete and return or you may click on the Volunteer Packet located on the left to download yourself.
