What Are You Looking For?

March 27, 2026

Dear Vikings,

As we head into Spring Break, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff, and families for all they have contributed throughout this stretch of the school year. The past several weeks have been filled with growth, accomplishment, and countless moments of pride across Niles Community Schools. I continue to be grateful for the strong partnership we share with our families and community. This spring has already provided many reasons to celebrate. In our classrooms, students have continued to grow academically while engaging in meaningful learning experiences. Across the district, we have also seen students shine through the arts, athletics, leadership opportunities, service projects, and career-focused programs. These experiences reflect not only the talent of our students, but also their hard work, perseverance, and Viking pride. I also want to recognize our teachers and staff for the commitment, and energy they bring each day. Their dedication to supporting students and creating positive learning environments continues to make a tremendous difference. We are fortunate to have a team that cares so deeply about the success of every child. As you prepare for the break, I encourage all of our families to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time together. Whether your plans include travel or simply a slower pace at home, I hope this break provides an opportunity for relaxation and renewal. Please note that school offices will be closed during Spring Break. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back on April 6 as we begin the final portion of the school year. The weeks ahead will be busy with concerts, performances, athletic contests, student celebrations, and preparations for graduation. With so much still to accomplish, regular attendance and a strong finish will be important for all students. Thank you for your continued support of Niles Community Schools. Your encouragement, involvement, and trust help make our schools stronger and help our students thrive. Wishing you and your family a safe and enjoyable Spring Break. Go Vikes!
