Meet the Guidance Program Staff

Mrs. Bierwagen, Ms. Rinehart, and Mrs. Rough are the counselors at Niles High School. Mrs. Bierwagen and Ms. Rinehart will assist you in your four year high school plan, selecting classes, building your schedule, preparing for testing, college and career preparation and much more. Mrs. Rough is our behavior specialist and works with students on social emotional needs. 

You also need to know Mrs. Joanna Pugh, the instructional assistant in the College and Career Center. She interviews all seniors about their post secondary plans and communicates and organizes opportunities to visit with college representatives, workforce opportunities, field trips to college campuses and much more!

Mrs. Marciniak is our guidance office secretary. She is here to support all of the guidance department efforts. She is also our resident expert on Parchment, the online program we utilize to send transcripts throughout the senior year.
