Michigan Merit Curriculum: 18 credits/18.5 credits for Class of 2028 and beyond

- If Chemistry is taken, students must also complete Physics to cover MMC standards..
- US History, Civics, Economics, World History
- 2 years of the same Foreign Language
- Visual, Performing, Applied Arts
- Physical Education, ½ credit
- Can be met through complete season of a NHS sport or two years of Marching Band
- Health, ½ credit
- Personal Finance, ½ credit (beginning with class of 2028)
NHS Graduation Requirements:
- Minimum of 26 credits earned within four years
- 18 Michigan Merit Curriculum courses, listed above.
- 8 elective courses; 7.5 Class of 2028 and beyond
